Scottish Social Housing Charter - 2021 Performance Report

The Scottish Social Housing Charter introduced certain standards and outcomes that landlords such as Yoker Housing Association Limited are expected to meet. These standards and outcomes are reported to and monitored by The Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) through the Annual Return on the Charter (ARC). The Association’s Seventh ARC was submitted to SHR this year and was based upon performance information for the year ending on 31 March 2021.

Housing Minister Kevin Stewart has written an open letter to housing association, housing co-operative and council tenants providing information and advice on Scotland's Route Map for moving out of the Covid-19 crisis.

Policy Review 2021

The Association will be reviewing the following policies during 2021.  As part of the review process the Association wishes to consult with tenants and other service users.

Rent Increase Consultation 2022 / 2023

During early 2022 the Association’s Management Committee will be reviewing rent levels which will take effect from the 1st of April 2022.  Prior to making any decision regarding the level of increase that should be applied, the Association is looking for feedback from tenants regarding how affordable they consider their current rent to be as well as tenants’ opinions regarding the level of rent increase that should be applied.
