Our People

The Association is managed by a non-executive board of trustees – the Management Committee – who meet formally at least eight times each year. The primary function of the Management Committee is to agree strategic objectives, the policies to be adopted in achieving those objectives and to review performance against those objectives while ensuring good governance of the Association and its assets.

All new tenants and owners are encouraged to become members of the Association as a matter of routine and to ensure that the Association’s membership remains representative of the community it serves. Staff also ensure that those who express an interest in joining the Management Committee are actively encouraged to do so through initial discussion with a senior member of staff or the Chairperson of the Association.

The Management Committee play no role in the day-to-day operations of the Association. This function is fulfilled by executive staff employed for the purpose.
